Handling the emotions of selling a business

It’s no secret that the past couple of months have been challenging with COVID-19 very much a part of our lives now. Whether your business is open or closed, I’m sure you’ve been given some time to think about your future and what you might want to do after the present situation has passed. One of these thoughts might be about whether or not to sell your business.

Working from home – a dream come true or your worst nightmare?

We’ve all had to make some adjustments – particularly when it comes to our working environment. There is new rules in place to keep socially distant and for many, working from home is the only viable option. Spare bedrooms have become makeshift offices and meeting on Zoom has become the new normal for that Monday morning check-in.

COVID-19 and contracts – what happens now?

When we experience events beyond our control like natural disasters and more recently the Coronavirus, what happens to legal agreements? What is still legally binding and what happens when contracts aren’t being met due to these events?

“Chaz has helped us negotiate a complex acquisition. He advised and communicated excellently throughout the process. We will continue to use his services and have suggested our contacts do the same.”

Sheila Moloney, CEO of
